Legendary argentinian player Messi claimed the title for the seventh time setting up
a record to break up for future generations . Lots of critics spread up recently in regards
to the prestigious award as Messi struggled big time with his ex team Barca and did not win
any titles last year , on top of that the player did not have a great performance with the
national team in Copa America compared to Di Maria and Dyballa for example . some other
players did not get the tribute they deserve as well with the likes of Salah coming in seventh
place and Suarez who led Atletico to La Liga title for the first time in 8 years !
